Kenyan teen killed after crashing into traffic signal in California

A Kenyan teen was killed on Sunday morning after he crashed into a traffic signal pole in Irvine California. Michael Kwabi, 19, of Irvine, was killed when his Infinity Q45 struck a signal pole just before 7am at the intersection of Orchard Hills and Wolf Trail. Detectives are still investigating the circumstances leading to the crash. Once on scene, officers pronounced the him dead on arrival. The Orange County Coroner’s Office will be conducting an investigation into the cause of the man’s death. Kwabi was the vehicle’s lone occupant. A Kenyan man with the US Marines has died in Nairobi. Kennedy Otieno Okumu died at the Mama Lucy Hospital in Nairobi succumbing to gunshot wounds. He was shot as he tried to fend of muggers in Nairobi while he was on holiday. He had traveled home from the US to visit family.
