Pain of doctors’ strike: 10 year old Wanjiku surviving on oxygen machine at home


As the government and the doctors now work to iron out the remaining sticky issues that would end the longest doctor’s strike in recent history, one girl is feeling the effects of that stand-off first hand. Ten year old Margaret Wanjiku has been forced to survive on an oxygen machine from home as she waits to see a chest and heart specialist to treat her deterioriating pneumonia condition. NTV’s Brenda Wanga reports.
