Controversial political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi made a stunning prediction saying that signs point to Rosemary Odinga as Kenya’s first Luo president.
“The First Luo president will be a woman. She will be Rosemary Odinga,” Ngunyi said via Twitter on Monday.
Ngunyi, who coined the “tyranny on numbers” in the run up to the 2013 general elections said that in Rosemary, the country will have a new face which is what the country needs.
Ngunyi who has been a critic of the former PM Raila Odinga said that the elder statesman stands no chance saying the only Odinga he sees being viable is Rosemary.
“The Odinga’s best bet is not the old Raila. It is the young Rosemary,” he added.
Ngunyi gave Rosemary some unsolicited advice telling her to never to trust a man blindly, adding that “Every great leader has a health challenge.”
The political analyst’s predictions comes on the heels of Rosemary officially dropping out of the Kibra constituency parliamentary contest due to health concerns.
She had earlier been admitted at a South African hospital with a brain tumor which has since been removed.
She thanked her supporters for standing with her during the two years she has been campaigning for the seat.
