Rosemary Odinga has been flown to SA for further treatment


NASA co-principal Raila Odinga has reported that his daughter Rosemary, who has a non-cancerous brain tumor, is doing well.

Raila also said his daughter, a Kibra MP aspirant, sent Kenyans greetings from South Africa where she is being treated.

“We thank God for her terrific recovery. Thanks to your prayers, Rozzy is well and sends greetings to all,” he said.

He also thanked the public for their prayers via Twitter on Monday.

Raila left for South Africa on March 10 to visit Rosemary who is his eldest daughter and the most politically active.

He also visited the US and was to return to Kenya today.

She has a meningioma, which can cause blindness, problems with movement and multiple other complications as it grows and presses into the brain.
