Three children of Eldoret MCA aspirant reported missing found murdered

The search for Eldoret MCA aspirant James Ratemo’s three children who had been reported missing came to a tragic end as all of them were found murdered on Thursday night.

The bodies of the three children who had been reported missing last Saturday were found dumped in River Nzoia.

The children, Clifford (seven), Glen (three) and Taya (five) were reported missing after they failed to return home after leaving for Eldovil SDA Church.

They were going to church with their mother but they had gone ahead of her. Upon arriving at the church, she could not locate them.

“I prepared very early for church as is the norm on Saturday,” she said.

“However, when I reached church, which is just 500 metres away, I could not find them. I assumed that they had gone to play with their friends but I was alarmed when they failed to come back home.”

Mr Ratemo is vying for the Kapsoya ward representative seat on a Kanu ticket.

Their uncle who was the last person to be seen with them was arrested on Friday and has been remanded.

Taya was in class one at Shalom Academy while Clifton was a pupil at Highlands Academy.

Glen who is the youngest was yet to go to school.
