Young Kenyan found murdered in Houston Texas

Deputies are investigating a double homicide in northwest Harris County (Houston) where a young Kenyan and his friend were found murdered.

Emmanuel Milton Okoth, 21, was found dead in a vacant apartment in Landings at Steeplechase apartments in the 9000 block of Jones Road around 2:30 Sunday morning.

Police were called in when a neighbor saw a door of a nearby apartment open and he decided to check.

He opened the door and saw a man on the floor with blood around his head and minutes later, when deputies arrived, they found a second man’s body inside that vacant apartment.

The cause of death has not been determined but investigators said both victims had injuries to their heads.

Okoth was described as a loving, joyful and adventurous young man.

On the fateful night, Okoth and a friend are said to have left the house to run an errand.

They never returned back home.

The family is requesting your assistance in raising funds in preparation for Okoth’s funeral.
