We did not have a lot of details last week but additional ones have been availed that might help with her last whereabouts.
Gift Kamau was born on September 5th, 1996 which makes her 20 years old.
The missing Kenyan national has short, curly/wavy black hair. She is of a slim build. She lives in Florissant, Missouri which is located in the northern St Louis County. It is about 21 miles from St Louis city.
She went missing on Thursday, March 30th. On this day, she was seen leaving her Florissant home headed for her classes at Saint Louis University in St. Louis.
Spotted by Cameras
A camera spotted her near the Chain of Rocks Bridge (Illinois side) between 11.30am and 1.30pm on the same day.
She was last captured by a camera as she walked across the bridge towards the Missouri side.
Since there are no cameras on the Missouri side of the bridge, it is not clear whether she crossed over to that side.
Her vehicle was found the same evening in Madison County, Illinois.
