On behalf of the parents: Edward Gitau (Dj Edge-Choma Sundays) and Charlene Tsangamwe, and with very heavy hearts and tears in our eyes, we regret to inform you of the passing of their 9 week old baby: Kaya Wambui Gitau on April 11th 2018.
Kaya was a healthy bouncing baby girl with the personality of an angel. However, shockingly, and with no warning, on March 22nd, she stopped breathing…
She was immediately rushed to the hospital where they revived her heart beat, but unfortunately, she was then in a coma.
The doctors and medical staff at Medical City Children’s Hospital Dallas did everything they could for 3 weeks in attempting to bring her back, but God had his own plans. After fighting with every breath she had, and with her parents beside her every minute of those 3 weeks, her heart finally stopped beating and God took her back.
This unexpected loss has left Edward and Charlene with out-of-pocket expenses of approximately $150,000 for medical expenses and funeral costs that are urgently needed so that we can lay Kaya to rest in peace on Wednesday, April 18th.
